Entry requirements
Minimum number of points needed to be qualified: 50
The programme is open to holders of the bachelor, master, engineer or equivalent degree.
Candidates are qualified for the studies based on the results of their interview.
Knowledge of English at least at B2 level is required. More information here.

The oral exam interview is designed to assess the candidate motivation, commitment and readiness to pursue the studies at the GPTE. The interview will be conducted in English as a face-to-face meeting or via an online platform with 2 interviewers. The questions will address reasons for wanting to teach, the candidates’ previous experiences related to teaching and learning, as well as the candidates’ awareness of the important current issues in education. The aim of the interview is to assess communication skills appropriate for professional situations, ability to explain the ideas, and ability to justify them.
Sample questions:
- Have you worked with children in any context? Be prepared to talk about your experiences. What is it about these experiences that has led you to apply?
- Think about what makes you suitable to be a teacher and how you could tell someone about this.
- Consider what you think the qualities of effective teachers are. Why do you believe this?
- Make yourself aware of the important current issues in education. What are some current issues related to educational topics covered by the media?
- What difficulties are you likely to encounter as a teacher and how would you deal with them?
- Do you have any special skills that would contribute to your role as a teacher?

Date of the qualifiaction interview: 22nd May, 2026, from 10:00 a.m (interview will be conducted online via Zoom)
