Dear Participants,
We would like to express our sincere gratitude for your participation in the Conference
“In the Spirit of Jane Addams, Global Dialogue, Social Change, Community Engagement in the 21st Century”.
Your presence, presentations, and active engagement contributed greatly to creating an inspiring space for the exchange of knowledge, experiences, and ideas.
We hope the event provided you with valuable academic connections and new impulses for further research and collaboration.
There were over 50 participants attending, from: USA, Poland, Turkey, Spain, Italy, Japan, Portugal, India, Slovakia, Canada, Nigeria, France.
We kindly inform and remind you that the deadline for submitting full papers is January 10, 2026 [see guidelines]
The Organizing Committee reserves the right to select papers for one of the two publications (after informing and consenting to the author). In the event of a large volume of material, the text may be divided and published in parts in two publications.
Conference book: “In the Spirit of Jane Addams: Global Dialogue, Social Change, and Community Engagement in the 21st Century. An Interdisciplinary Inquiry.” Publisher University of Warsaw. Authors who presented in digital format are also encouraged to publish.
and/or
Article in the journal Social Pedagogy Nova: “Discussions on Jane Addams’ Legacy in the 21st Century”. For the second publication we invite authors who could not make to come to the conference but wish to participate in the international discussions.
Both publications will be published in open access form, in English.
