Start Scholarship – 4th Edition

On April 1, 2026, the fourth edition of the “Start Scholarship for Olympiad Winners” and the “Start Scholarship for Athletes” programs was launched. These programs are addressed to students who began their first-cycle (Bachelor’s), second-cycle (Master’s), or long-cycle Master’s studies in the 2025/2026 academic year.

The program offers several types of scholarships tailored to different achievements:

“Start Scholarship for Olympiad Winners” – intended for first-year students of first-cycle or long-cycle Master’s programs who are winners of subject Olympiads and who obtained the maximum number of points in the university admissions process based on their Olympiad winner title.

“Start Scholarship for Athletes” – intended for first-year students of first-cycle, second-cycle, or long-cycle Master’s programs. Eligible applicants are those who placed in a scoring position at the Olympic Games, World Championships, European Championships, or Polish Championships (no lower than 10th place), and who are also entitled to receive the Rector’s scholarship in the academic year in which they apply for the “Start Scholarship”.

To apply for the “Start Scholarship”, applicants must download and complete the application form and submit it to the Financial Aid Office together with the required documents confirming their achievements.

Applications for the scholarship can be submitted from April 1 to April 24 this year.
