Terms and conditionsSelection of students and doctoral students for mobility for studies (SMS) in EU member states, countries associated to the Programme and Great Britain – Faculty of Education, University of Warsaw – general information

The student submits the required documents by the deadline set by the Admissions Committee (recruitment schedule) and registers via USOSweb.
Documents should be submitted in room 114 or in the ERASMUS folder (in the cloakroom). We would like to remind you that only COPIES of documents are accepted.

The basic criteria for students are:

  • grade point average for at least the last completed year of study (3.49), conditional entry to the stage of study in which recruitment takes place is allowed, but concerning only the failure to pass one subject (as at the date of application);
  • knowledge and proficiency in a relevant foreign language (in accordance with the Erasmus+ inter-institutional agreement);
  • compatibility of the offer of the partner university with the student’s study programme;
  • student’s motivation, achievements, commitment.

Once the student has been pre-qualified by the Committee at the Faculty, the International Relations Office UW forwards nominations to the partner university.
It is usually then necessary to register in the system of the foreign university and complete the formalities required by the university (e.g. provide the nomination letter from the IRO, the study course card in English, confirmation of knowledge of the foreign language). Information on this should be sought in emails from the partner universities, on the website of the foreign university, or, failing that, by contacting directly the mobility coordinator of the faculty of the foreign university to which the student is going.

Ensure that the required documents (e.g. Letter of Acceptance – usually the HEIs will forward the documents by e-mail after the formalities have been completed) and other formalities (e.g. OLS language test – the deadline for taking the test and the link will be sent to the qualified students by the HEI, pre-departure agreement) are submitted to IRO according to the guidelines provided by IRO.

Prepare a Learning Agreement

Before departure, make sure whether the host university participates in the EWP (Erasmus Without Paper) system or not. In both cases, the LA is filled in in USOSweb.
If yes, the LA should be filled in in the EWP form. It is created by the Coordinator after the student has entered the basic data concerning the trip. Once these have been entered, the Coordinator (ezubala@uw.edu.pl) should be informed that the EWP LA should be created.
If not, complete the LA in the ‘old’ e-LA form. If the “old” e-LA template does not display in USOSweb, please contact Ms Agnieszka Tokarzewska (a.tokarzewska@uw.edu.pl).

Once the mobility has been completed, follow the procedure published at https://www.pedagog.uw.edu.pl/erasmus/erasmus-studia-czesciowe-rozliczenie/.
