Heuristics, a series of doctoral seminars

Dear All,

The Directors of the Doctoral School of Social Sciences and the Team invite you to the next edition of Heuristics, a series of doctoral seminars at the University of Warsaw, initiated by His Magnificence, the Rector of the University of Warsaw, Professor Alojzy Z. Nowak. This time, the seminar is organized by the Doctoral School of Social Sciences at the University of Warsaw.

The event will take place on May 28, 2026 (Thursday), from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. At Faculty of Applied Linguistics, Dobra 55, room 0.410.

Their research and academic achievements will be presented by:

• mgr Michelle Mbazuigwe – the topic of doctoral dissertation: “Struktura przestrzenna miast Globalnego Południa, a dostęp do terenów zieleni ich mieszkańców.”
• mgr Mateusz Jeżowski – the topic of doctoral dissertation: “Wolontariat cyfrowy – analiza zjawiska na przykładzie polskich platform internetowych i działalności organizacji pozarządowych w obszarze wolontariatu.”
• mgr Mariusz Kierasiński – the topic of doctoral dissertation: “Dwie rzeczywistości, jedna dyscyplina? Historia socjologii koreańskiej.”
• mgr Emilia Michałuszko – the topic of doctoral dissertation: “Cywilnoprawne uregulowanie świadczenia usług seksualnych.”
