Mobility – General Information
Foreign cooperation plays a significant role in the activities of the University of Warsaw. As a leading academic institution in the country, the University strives to strengthen its position also on the international stage, among other things by deepening cooperation with strategic foreign partners and promoting active exchange of students and staff. In the coming years, the University will aim to increase the share of international students and staff, further internationalize its study programs, incorporate student mobility components into them, and continue its active participation in EU and international educational and research programs.
On 22 December 2020, the European Commission awarded the University of Warsaw the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE). This granted the University the right to apply for Erasmus+ funding for the years 2021–2027 in the fields of education, training, youth, and sport.
This program is one of the main mobility opportunities at the University of Warsaw, covering both student mobility (partial studies and traineeships; long- and short-term) and staff mobility.
Information about this and other mobility opportunities can be found on the website of the International Relations Office: http://bwz.uw.edu.pl/.
