Ethics & Education

“Ethics and Education” is a recurring international academic conference organized by the Faculty of Education and the Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Warsaw.

The conference has been held every two years since 2011 and provides an opportunity for the exchange of experience among researchers from various academic centers, both domestic and international. The conference theme concerns broadly understood ethical and educational issues, bringing together the interests of educators and philosophers, particularly scholars of ethics. The meetings offer a special opportunity for participants to exchange ideas and experiences, including a wide audience of attendees who, although they do not deliver papers, actively take part in discussions. In their presentations, participants share the results of research conducted in recent years. Speakers are invited by the conference organizers to participate and present their research.

Thanks to its recurring nature and its method of selecting speakers, the E&E conference fosters the development of a community of scholars who use the conference meetings not only to publish research results, but also to engage in critical reflection.

 

Międzynarodowe Seminarium Wydziału Pedagogicznego UW

The International Seminar of the Faculty of Education at the University of Warsaw is a series of academic meetings during which invited lecturers from foreign academic institutions present their research projects and scholarly achievements. The seminar is attended by Faculty members as well as doctoral candidates and master’s degree students.

The meetings are announced on the websites of the Faculty and the University of Warsaw and are open to researchers and students from all universities. Some sessions in this series may be devoted to practical issues in contemporary education, and the invited speakers in such cases represent foreign educational institutions that play an important role in the functioning of education systems.

 

Spotkania naukowe Wydziału Pedagogicznego

Scientific Meetings is a series of events organized by the Faculty of Education, dedicated to current issues in social research and educational practice – without boredom, but with real questions and fresh research findings. We aim to create a space for reflection, discussion, and challenging established patterns around topics important to contemporary pedagogy and the social sciences. It is a place for exchanging ideas, asking difficult questions, and finding research inspiration. We invite everyone interested to join, regardless of career stage – from students to experienced researchers.
