Mgr Emilia Katarzyna Sikorska
Doktorantka (III rok). Mgr w dyscyplinie stosunki międzynarodowe (WDiNS UW) oraz mgr w dyscyplinie kryminologia (IPSiR UW). Kurator zawodowy w II ZKSS w Otwocku. Członkini Polskiego Towarzystwa Pedagogicznego i Polskiego Towarzystwa Kryminologicznego. Członkini European Society of Criminology. Zajmuje się problematyką zachowań samobójczych oraz przemocy domowej. Przygotowuje rozprawę pt. „Zachowania samobójcze dzieci i młodzieży w perspektywie doświadczeń nauczycieli, pedagogów szkolnych i rodziców”.

Emilia Katarzyna Sikorska – PhD candidate (3rd year). She holds an MA in International Relations (Faculty of Political Science and International Studies, University of Warsaw) and an MA in Criminology (Institute of Social Prevention and Resocialisation, University of Warsaw). She works as a probation officer. She is a member of the Polish Pedagogical Society and the Polish Criminological Society. Her research focuses on suicidal behaviour and domestic violence. Her doctoral dissertation is titled: Suicidal Behaviour of Children and Adolescents from the Perspective of Teachers, School Counsellors and Parents.
She is the author of a review of the book edited by Brunon Hołyst, Suicide Prevention, vol. 3: Suicidal Behaviour of Children and Adolescents (Difin, Warsaw 2023), published in Pedagogika Społeczna NOVA (2024), and the article Traumatic Childhood as a Factor Increasing the Risk of Suicidal Behaviour in the Context of Qualitative Research (Biuletyn Kryminologiczny, 29/2022).
She has presented her research at academic conferences, including CICY 2 Cyberviolence: Theory, Research, and the Search for Solutions (Adam Mickiewicz University, Poznań, 3–4 June 2024), the 3rd Criminological Congress (23–24 September 2024), and the 12th National Pedagogical Congress (16–18 September 2025).
