Yarmouk University (YU) is the second oldest and second largest university in Jordan that was established in Irbid city in 1976.YU offers 67 Bachelor, 69 Masters, and 18 Ph.D. programs located in 15 faculties. It has also 18 research and service centers, including (1) the Quality and Academic Development Center, (2) the Refugees, Displaced Persons and Forced Migration Studies Center, (3) Women Studies Center, (4) Entrepreneurship and Innovation Center, and (5) Sustainability Development Center. Student enrolment at YU is approximately 35,000 students in the undergraduate programs and is approximately 5,000 students in the graduate programs. The instruction language in most fields of study at YU is English.
